Call of Duty Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Mobile aimed to bring a true, console-style Battle Royale to phones most notably with Verdansk and large-scale matches plus cross-progression that let players share progress across platforms. But in 2025, Activision began winding the game down: the title was delisted after May 18, 2025, and no new seasonal content or major gameplay updates were planned going forward. Even so, Warzone Mobile’s legacy is clear: it proved how close mobile shooters can get to the full Warzone feel, while also showing the limits of demanding “console-grade” tech on a wide range of smartphones.
